  • size: varying, 600 - 800 employees;

  • position: senior consultant, specialist.

Jan. 1989 - April 1990:

VETH Consulting Engineers BV, current name Iv-Groep BV, Papendrecht, Netherlands

  • profile: multidisciplinary design and engineering services, particularly in steel structures;

  • size: about 1000 employees at that time, now about 4000 world-wide;

  • position: constructor, team leader.

March 1985 - Dec. 1988:

  • profile: design and engineering services in steel structures, particularly in offshore and heavy industry;

  • size: varying, 20 - 30 employees;

  • position: designer, structural analyst.

Jan. 1984 - May 1984:

BRONSWERK Heating & Airconditioning BV, Amersfoort, Netherlands

  • profile: design, engineering and supply of industrial heat transfer and airconditioning systems;

  • size: about 200 employees;

  • position: constructor of supports and other structures for the systems of a nuclear fast breeder reactor.

June - Dec. 1982 and June - Sept. 1984:

  • profile: design, engineering and supply of air filtering systems for industry and public utilities;

  • size: worldwide 2600 employees;

  • position: constructor and design leader of heavy dust exhaust systems and supports.

Oct. 1979 - Dec. 1981:

AMERICAN EMBASSY in Warsaw, Poland

  • profile: US Government official representation in Poland;

  • size: about 150 employees;

  • position: project and maintenance engineer.

Nov. 1974 - Sept. 1979:

Steel plant HUTA WARSZAWA (now ArcelorMittal) in Warsaw, Poland

  • profile: production and supply of high grade steel and semi-finished products;

  • size: about 4000 employees, now less;

  • position: supervisor of industrial structural projects, construction manager.

Dec. 1973 - Oct. 1974:

  • profile: construction and refurbishment of industrial (particularly steel plant) structures;

  • size: about 4000 employees, now less and split into smaller companies;

  • position: designer, team leader.
