Below, you can see my education record. I was lucky to be employed by governmental institutions for a large part of my career. This gave me the opportunity to follow more specialist courses and trainings than most other professionals do. Giving full details on all of these courses would make this list very long. Therefore, I have clustered such courses and trainings by indicating only the fields of disciplines addressed.

project planning, organisation, management and cost control;

DOCTORAL RESEARCH and DOCTORAL THESIS DEFENSE at the GDANSK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, FACULTY of CIVIL & ENVIRINMENTAL ENGINEERING, details:

thesis: "Contact Problems in Lock Gates and Other Hydraulic Closures in View of Investigations and Field Experiences", Gdansk University of Technology, defended on October 26, 2005;
PhD degree in civil engineering granted on November 16, 2005.

POST GRADUATION COURSES on the DELFT UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY and other INSTITUTES in the fields:

probabilistic design, safety issues, theory of flood defence systems;
risk analyses, risk assessment and management;
stability issues, dynamic loads and resistance of structures to these loads;
tribology, tribological aspects in structural and other engineering.

POST GRADUATION STUDY on the UTRECHT POST GRADUATION EDUCATION INSTITUTE (PTO-U), details:

subject: "Selection of construction material for designers";
courses: design process, systematic material choice, design in metals, design in plastics and composites, design in ceramics, shaping, damage diagnostics, sustainable material choice, economical aspects;
evening study of 1 year, final report and certificate on April 28, 1993.

MASTER'S STUDY in CIVIL ENGINEERING on the SILESIAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY in GLIWICE, FACULTY of CIVIL ENGINEERING and ARCHITECTURE :

specialisation: construction of bridges;
thesis: "Shaping of bridge supports with consideration to soil movements after mining", september 1972;
MSc degree in civil engineering granted on October 4, 1972.

PRIMARY and SECONDARY GENERAL EDUCATION at the ADAM MICKIEWICZ III LIBERAL EDUCATION LICEUM in KATOWICE, Poland, details:

primary school of 7 years followed by secondary general education of 4 years;
finished with credit in June 1967;
